Anna Vivienne (Chesnut) Burtchaell

Ms. Anna Vivienne (Chesnut) Burtchaell, age 80, of Carrollton passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi on Friday, March 12, 1943. Ms. Burtchaell was the daughter of the late, Phillip H. Chesnut, Sr. and the late, Vivienne (Elliot) Chesnut.

Ms. Burtchaell was known for quick wit and sense of humor. She enjoyed being outdoors, working in her garden, going to the beach, visiting lighthouses, reading, sewing, and dancing.  Ms. Burtchaell loved her family and many friends with all her heart and she will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy and Eva Zimpelman of Carrollton and Rodney Zimpelman of Douglasville; her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Mark Goodwin of Hiram; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Phillip H. Chesnut, Jr. and Grace Chesnut of Port Richey, Florida, Roy and Grace Puckett of Brandon, Mississippi, and Ted and Barbara Puckett of Brandon, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Alec Davis, April Ross, Robert Zimpelman, Michael Zimpelman, Meghan Thurmond, Dustyn Garland, and Andrew Goodwin; her great-grandchildren, Anna Ross, Everett Ross, Asher Ross, Joshua Theobald, Kelly Davis and Jetson Garland. Ms. Burtchaell is also survived by many loving friends and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Ms. Burtchaell’s wishes, she will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
