Luckie Paul Narine Singh

Mr. Luckie Paul Narine Singh, age 76, of Douglasville passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019. He was born in Mahaica, Guyana in South America on Thursday, March 11, 1943. Mr. Singh was the son of the late, Kuar Singh and the late, Sumitra Singh. Besides his parents, Mr. Singh is preceded in death by a few of his siblings.

Mr. Singh served as a Teacher at Cane Grove High School in Guyana. Later in life he worked as a Security Guard both in South America and New York. He attended Foundation Baptist Church in Lithia Springs. Mr. Singh was a dedicated family man and especially enjoyed watching movies with his daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Chanrowti Singh of Temple; one daughter and son-in-law, Savitri Singh-Basant and Dripaul Basant of Temple; six grandchildren, Olivia Agnes Basant, Amanda Elizabeth Basant, Justin Paul Basant, Ethan Paul Basant, Connor Paul Basant and Victoria Ava Basant.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 4P.M. until 6P.M. Visitation will be concluded with prayer being provided by Brother Barry Gillis.

In accordance with Mr. Singh’s wishes, he will be cremated following the visitation.

The family will accept flowers, but requests that no donations be made since the final expenses have already been taken care of.
