Patricia Ann (Haney) Carter

Ms. Patricia Ann (Haney) Carter, age 75, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. She was born in Doraville on July 20, 1948. Ms. Carter was the daughter of the late, Raymond Haney and the late, Ruby Inez (Ford) Barrett. In addition to her parents, Ms. Carter is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Maurice Brownsword; one daughter, Dawn Griffin; one brother, Ray Haney and by her great-grandson, Kameron Englett.

Ms. Carter was a member of Heaven Bound Church of God in Centralhatchee, GA. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, David (Shirley) Irelan of Roanoke, Alabama and Tony (Beverly) Brownsword of Temple; one daughter and son-in-law, La-Trish (David) Evans of Villa Rica; two brothers, Larry Haney and Bobby Barrett; and by three sisters, Gladys Adams, Diane Sams, and Janice Haymon. Ms. Carter is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Ms. Carter’s wishes, she will be cremated.
