Anita Ruth (Head) Vollrath

Mrs. Anita Ruth (Head) Vollrath, age 72, of Carrollton passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was born in Atlanta on Sunday, May 27, 1951. Mrs. Vollrath was the daughter of the late, Oscar Fred Head and the late, Audrey (Twidelle) Head. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vollrath is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kenneth Vollrath, Sr.; her brother, Larry Wayne Williams; and by her sisters, Georgia Haynes, Dianne Gladden, Delilah Grier, and Ellen Hobbs. Mrs. Vollrath worked many years for Cobb County School System.

Survivors include her son, Robert Kenneth Vollrath, Jr. of Carrollton; her daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Darin Haverstock of Douglasville and Charity and Matt Brown of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Kendall Woods, J.J. Johnson, Emily Bailey, Devin Lee Banks and his wife, RheAnna Banks, and Christopher Cochran and his wife, Charlotte Cochran; her great-grandchildren, Ava Johnson, Shylyn Johnson, Emerson Bailey, Asher Bailey, Addi Cochran, Silas Cochran, Braxton Lee Banks, Phoenix Connally, and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mrs. Vollrath’s wishes, she will be cremated.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at The King’s Way Baptist Church in Douglasville on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 1P.M.
