Anthony Lee Wright

Mr. Anthony Lee Wright, age 58, of Villa Rica passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. He was born in Marietta on November 5, 1966. Mr. Wright is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita (Wise) Donaldson and by one brother, Kenny Wright.

Mr. Wright dedicated many years of his life to owning and operating Wright’s Drywall. He was known for his ability to build and create, showcasing a talent for working with his hands that extended beyond his career into all aspects of his life. Anthony was a passionate hunter and fisherman, finding joy in nature and the outdoors. He greatly enjoyed anything related to cars, often spending his time exploring this interest and sharing it with others. However, his greatest joy came from his grandchildren. The love Anthony had for them knew no bounds, and he treasured the moments spent in their company, making memories that will last a lifetime.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 37 years, Melinda (Koski) Wright of Villa Rica; three daughters and one son-in-law, Ashley and Jeff Rich of Dallas, Taylor Wright of Temple, and Hope Kelly of Villa Rica; his father and step-mother, Herschel and Brenda Wright of LaFayette; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Donald and Tammy Wright of Texas and David Wright of Carrollton; his sister, Kimberly Chapman of Acworth; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Marilyn Watson of Marietta, his grandchildren, Kendall, Alliyah, Harper, Oakley, Ryker, Christopher, Wednesday, Everett, and Gracelynn. Mr. Wright is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Wright’s arrangements, he will be cremated.

The family will be conducting a Celebration of Life on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 1 P.M. from the New Vision Baptist Church located at 4344 Villa Rica Highway, Dallas, GA 30157.
