Brenda Renee (Folds) Fortenberry

Mrs. Brenda Renee (Folds) Fortenberry, age 57, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. She was born in Atlanta on Monday, August 30, 1965.  Mrs. Fortenberry is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Erwin Fortenberry; one son, Steven Fortenberry; her father, Elvis Ray Folds; three brothers, Wayne Folds, Eddie Folds, and Elvis Folds; and by one sister, Elizabeth Folds.

Mrs. Fortenberry was a very loving and tender-hearted person, who never met a stranger. She enjoyed working in her garden, reading and putting puzzles together. Above all, Brenda loved her family and she will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Keri Fortenberry of Villa Rica; her mother, Margaret (Edenfield) Folds of Buchanan; her brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Trichel Folds of Carrollton; her sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Sue and Chuck Twist of Douglasville; her grandchildren, Tyler Fortenberry, Emilee Fortenberry and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mrs. Fortenberry’s wishes, she will be cremated.

A graveside inurnment service will be conducted at a later date.
