Mrs. Brenda Lee (Russell) Fuqua Douglas, age 57, of Temple passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016. Mrs. Douglas was born on Tuesday, October 14, 1958 in Marietta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Melvin Russell and the late Mary (Wheeling) Russell. Besides her parents, Mrs. Douglas is also preceded in death by her first husband of thirty years, Ron Fuqua; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Kenneth Russell and Rickey and Sue Russell; and one sister, Faye Russell.
Survivors include her husband, James Douglas of Temple; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Heather Fuqua of Temple; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Julie and Jimmy Warren of Temple and Jessica and Stan Arras of Temple; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Eddie Russell of Palmetto, Georgia and Norman and Laurie Russell of Dallas, Georgia; one sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Kent Smith of Powder Springs, Georgia; ten grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 4P.M. until 8P.M.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Croft Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 3pm with Reverend Max Padgett officiating.
Mrs. Douglas will lie in state on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 1pm until the funeral hour.
Interment will follow in the Pine Ridge Memorial Park located in Kennesaw, Georgia with the following gentlemen serving as Pallbearers: Glen Smith, Justin Smith, Melvin Smith, John Moore, John Russell, and Mike Simmons. Honorary Pallbearers include: Rodney Moore and Matt Cantrell.
