Dale Lenn Lewis

Mr. Dale Lenn Lewis, age 57, of Temple passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019. He was born in Temple on Sunday, May 13, 1962. Mr. Lewis was the son of the late, Bobby Lewis and the late, Martha Jean Rabun Lewis. Besides his parents, Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Tims) Lewis; and by two brothers, Barry Lewis and John Lewis. Mr. Lewis made his career as a mechanic, having owned and operated Temple Automotive for 37 years.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kamryn Lewis of Temple and Kenneth Lewis of Temple; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Keith and Lisa Lewis of Bowdon and Shane Lewis of Tallapoosa; one sister, Carole Lewis; three grandchildren, Dayson Lewis, Dawson Lewis and Oliver Lewis; his special friend, Nancy Crawford and her children, many friends and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Lewis’ wishes, he will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 4P.M. until 6P.M. at Liberty Christian Church. Guests are invited to bring food and enjoy a time of remembrance and fellowship with the family.
