Elsie Corinne Livingston

Mrs. Elsie Corinne Livingston, age 91, of Villa Rica passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015. Mrs. Livingston was born in McComb, Mississippi on Wednesday, August 8, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Fred Taylor and the late Essie May (Price) Taylor. Besides her parents Mrs. Livingston is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Livingston, their son Stanley Keith Livingston, and her sister Dorothy Nell Burkley.

Survivors include her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda and Larry Wimbish of Temple, Darlene and Horace Stover of Douglasville, and Susan Livingston of Villa Rica; one son, Howard Livingston of Reidsville; four grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Michael Waldrip of Douglasville, John Waldrip of Macon, Paul and Anita Waldrip of Augusta, and Jon Gross of Arizona;  five granddaughters, Sandy Moyer of Temple, Tina Davis, Tabitha Livingston, Tonia Livingston, and Toshia Livingston all of Covington; twenty one great-grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.

Mrs. Elsie Livingston was a hard working Christian woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading various novels, and taking the time to prepare food for her family and friends. Mrs. Livingston was also a member of Christian Way Baptist Church in Villa Rica.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Croft Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 2pm with Reverend Horace Stover officiating and music being rendered by Mike Moore. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in East Point, Georgia.
