Hiram Westley Ledbetter

Mr. Hiram Westley Ledbetter, age 81, of Rockmart passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018. He was born in Atlanta on Monday, September 14, 1936. Mr. Ledbetter was the son of the late, Wylie (Jack) Ledbetter and the late Mattie Mae (Travis) Ledbetter. Besides his parents, Mr. Ledbetter is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Mauldin) Ledbetter, one son, James Wade Ledbetter, and one brother, Douglas Ledbetter.

Survivors include one son, Howard Eugene Ledbetter of Rockmart; two daughters and one son-in-law, Deborah and Ricky Holland of Carrollton and Jacqueline Annette Brown of Surprise, Arizona; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Robert Ledbetter of Albuquerque, New Mexico, James Daniel and Joyce Ledbetter of Cedartown, Joseph and Pat Ledbetter of Villa Rica, and Allen and Andrea Ledbetter of Villa Rica; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.

Mr. Ledbetter served in the United States Air Force. Later in life, he worked for and retired from the City of Atlanta.

In accordance with Mr. Ledbetter’s wishes, he will be cremated.

Private interment will be held at a later date.
