Jennifer Louise (Watts) Goodman

Mrs. Jennifer Louise (Watts) Goodman, age 41, of Buchanan passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. She was born in Marietta on May 9, 1982. Mrs. Goodman is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.

Mrs. Goodman worked as a Medical Coder for East Alabama Medical Center, and she also Homeschooled her children. Jennifer was a Christian and she and her family attended Covenant Life Church in Bremen. Mrs. Goodman enjoyed going to the beach and to the mountains for vacations. She also enjoyed coloring, reading, and had a special place in her heart for animals. Above all, Jennifer loved her children with all of her heart, and she will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Jonathan Michael Goodman of Buchanan; her sons, Jayden Goodman and Jonah Goodman both of Buchanan; her daughters, Julianna Goodman and Jacie Goodman both of Buchanan; her parents, David and Karen Watts of Dallas; her brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Kristen Watts of Carrollton; sister-in-law, Ruth Goodman of Newnan; her father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Bob and Carol Goodman of Brooks; her nieces and nephews, Madison, Jacob, and Charlotte. Mrs. Goodman is also survived by her maternal grandparents and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with the family’s arrangements, Mrs. Goodman will be cremated.

Covenant Life Church of Bremen will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 11 A.M. with Pastor John Butler officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday, prior to the service, from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, a love offering can be made to the Memorial Benefit Fund for the Children of Jennifer Goodman that has been set up at Bank OZK in Bremen under Jonathan M Goodman’s name.
