Jerry Lynn Harrell

Mr. Jerry Lynn Harrell, age 75, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on Sunday, October 26, 1947. Mr. Harrell was the son of the late, Benjamin Robert Harrell, Sr. and the late, Rosell (Cox) Harrell.

Mr. Harrell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was described as a true southern gentleman, being kind and giving to everyone. Jerry was also known for his great sense of humor. Mr. Harrell enjoyed helping others through his involvement in various motorcycle ride fundraisers. He also enjoyed boating with friends, spending time at the lake, going golfing, and cooking a good steak on the grill. Above all, Jerry loved his family, and he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Tommie Jo Ann Floyd of Temple; his son, Tim Harrell of Tupelo, Mississippi; two daughters and one son-in-law, Patty Lynn Harrell of Memphis, Tennessee and Jeska and Tony Sisk of Tupelo, Mississippi; one brother, Benjamin Robert Harrell, Jr. of Florida; eight grandchildren, Christopher Harrell, Audrey Harrell, Gunner Harrell, Timothy Alan Goff, Jr., Kenneth Leemon Goff, Bradley Aaron Goff, Jordan Sisk and Emery Sisk. Mr. Harrell is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and by his beloved pets, Buster, Chewy and granddog, Pedro.

In accordance with Jerry’s wishes, he will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
