Joan Dorothy (Stephens) Estes

Mrs. Joan (Stephens) Estes was born in Atlanta, Georgia to William and Cecile Stephens. She married William Tyndale in 1949 and had two children, Nancy Tyndale Schaufele and Bill Tyndale Jr.

Joan loved playing the piano and adored the many pet dogs who came and went during her lifetime. Joan loved the beach and moved from Atlanta to Panama City, where she worked as real estate agent. She later retired in West Georgia.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Nancy Schaufele (and husband Dr. Christopher Schaufele), Bill Tyndale, grandchildren, Wendell Williams, Katherine Herrick, Leigh Wooten, David Tyndale, and three great grandchildren.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Ray Estes.

A memorial service is planned for this summer.
