Joe Robert Daughtry

Mr. Joe Robert Daughtry, age 71, of Carrollton passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was born in Andalusia, Alabama on May 28, 1953. Mr. Daughtry is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Jean (Schroeder) Daughtry; by his father, Auval Daughtry; by one brother, Steve Daughtry, and by one grandchild.

Mr. Daughtry served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He would late retire from Union Local 85 Sheet Metal Workers Association after many years of service.

Survivors include his son, Jason Russell Daughtry; his daughter, Jessica Renee Daughtry-Ambrose; his brother, Blaine Keith Daughtry; his mother and stepfather, Carolyn (McKinney) Elsner and Virgil Elsner; his sister, Carol Ann Dooley, and by his good friend, Barbara; Mr. Daughtery is also survived by his grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Daughtry’s prearrangements and wishes, he will be cremated.
