John Henry Windham, Jr.

Mr. John Henry Windham, Jr., age 84, of Bremen passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was born in Atlanta on Friday, January 14, 1938. Mr. Windham was the son of the late, John Henry Windham, Sr. and the late, Bessie Mae (Jarrell) Windham. In addition to his parents, Mr. Windham is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Ann (Chandler) Windham and by his daughter, Selena Mignalt.

Mr. Windham served in the United States Navy. He would later make his career as an Electrician for Fischbach and Moore Electrical Group, LLC. John was a Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Union Local 613.  Mr. Windham enjoyed watching Westerns and was a fan of John Wayne. He was also an avid reader and especially enjoyed books written by Author, Louis L’Amour.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Robin Windham of Bremen; his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Julia Windham of Blairsville; his sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Larry Peterson of Fayetteville; his grandchildren and their spouses, Ron Windham, Jr. and Jackie Windham of Destin, Hope and James Harris of Newnan, and Autumn and Bengi Saunier of Stockbridge; his great-grandchildren, Cameron Pierce, Kyle Pierce, Jimmy Harris, Taylor Harris, Mac Windham and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Windham’s wishes, he will be cremated.
