Mrs. Katurah Anne (Quinn) Coleman, age 70, of Douglasville passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. She was born in Atlanta on Tuesday, September 29, 1953. Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband, George Marcus Coleman, Jr., by her father, Thomas Harry Quinn, and by one brother, Harry Lynn Quinn.
Mrs. Coleman retired from UPS after years of service. She loved her family with all her heart, most especially her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “Gaga”.
Left to cherish her memory are her children and their spouses, Thom Jesse of Birmingham, Alabama, Chris and Kristi Parker of Douglasville, Garrin and Nicole Coleman of Canton and Ginger and J.P. Salman of Carrollton; her mother, Mildred “Mickey” Quinn of Douglasville; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Thomas “Pip” and Diane Quinn of Vidalia and Michael Quinn of Douglasville; her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Mike Langvin of Dallas; her grandchildren, Kayla Parker, Christopher Parker, Jr., Garrison Coleman, Gabe Coleman, Heidi Salman, Georgia Salman and a number of other relatives.
In accordance with Mrs. Coleman’s wishes, she will be cremated.
A Private Family Memorial Service will be conducted at Church On The Word in Douglasville at a later date.
