Kenneth Luther Timms

Mr. Kenneth Luther Timms , age 72, of Temple passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015.  He was born in Decatur, Georgia on Saturday April 4, 1942.  He was the son of the late Wayne Timms and the late Mary (Smith) Timms. Besides his parents Mr. Timms is preceded in death by his wife Judy Elaine (Wyatt) Timms, his son Samuel Wayne Timms, his daughter Eunice Martina (Tina) Mayberry, and his brother Allen Wayne Timms.

Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, William Humphrey Mayberry III and his wife Dianne Mayberry of Temple, Kenneth Michael Timms of Temple, and Danny Keith Mayberry of Carrollton; One daughter and son-in-law, Judy Michelle and Michael Roe of Carrollton; Three grandsons, Johnathon Mayberry of Temple, Billy Mayberry of Temple,and Joshua Mayberry of Temple;One granddaughter, Sheana Hughes of Temple; One great-grandchild, River Schmidt of Carrollton;Two sisters and one brother-in-law, Cynthia Stewart of Marietta, and Marsha and Robin Mashburn of Loganville; One sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Terrell Bruce of Bremen, and a number of other relatives.

Mr. Timms retired from his printing business (Timms Printing). He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, reading mystery books, and taking the time to have a good conversation with those he met.

In accordance with his wishes Mr. Timms will be cremated. The family will host a celebration of life at his daughter Michelle Roe’s residence at 350 Bowdon Junction Rd. Carrollton, GA. 30117 on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 3pm.
