She Found Me
by Craig M. Fincher
For Kimberley
I was wounded, wandering in a desert land. My pain was screaming. My life was sifting sand.
I was alone deserted and left to die. I was staring at a hot, blazing sky.
I was thirsty kneeling by a dry river bed. My heart was broken. I felt pounding in my head.
I looked in the distance, further than I could see. I knew she was there. I knew she would come to me.
She brought fragrant oil to mend my broken heart. She soothed my pain and this was our start.
She brought comfort and took away my strife. She gave all of herself. She became my wife.
She brought drink to quench my thirst. She wrapped me in her arms and little blue eyes was our first.
Two more would come. They brought us great joy. We looked for Paul, but never had a boy.
Thirty-one years have come and gone. Kimberley has now left us and she is in her heavenly home.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 7PM from the Covenant Life Church of God in Bremen with Reverend John Butler officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church from 5PM until the Memorial Service begins.
