Larry Dale Howard

Mr. Larry Dale Howard, age 73, of Carrollton passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. He was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on Friday, December 26, 1947. Mr. Howard was the son of the late, James L. Howard and the late, Dorothy (English) Howard. In addition to his parents, Mr. Howard is preceded in death by his wife, Amy Meredith (Lasek) Howard.

Mr. Howard retired from the United States Navy after 26 years of service. Following his service in the Navy, he worked for Toshiba as a field technician. Mr. Howard played softball while he was in the Navy. He was Also an avid bowler, enjoyed playing basketball, football and going fishing. Mr. Howard will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Survivors include his daughter, Chale Danielle Howard Emfinger of Gardendale, Alabama; two sons, Brian Howard of Carrollton and Zac Lasek and his fiancée, Brittany White both of Carrollton; special cousins, Lelanda Davis and Phyllis Trotter both of Jacksonville, Florida; five grandchildren, Madi Lasek, Jerek Lasek, Jaxcen Lasek, Gabriel Lasek, Damon Lasek and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mr. Howard will be cremated.

The family will host a Memorial Gathering at Brian Howard’s residence on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1P.M. The gathering will include a cookout and a celebration of Mr. Howard’s life. All are welcome to attend the gathering to share memories and reflect on the life of Larry Dale Howard. Brian asks that you send him a private message on Facebook, if you need his address.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mr. Howard will be cremated. The family will host a Memorial Gathering at a later date.
