Ms. Lynda Jean (Stelmachers) Fulton, age 66, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. She was born in Atlanta on January 29, 1957. Ms. Fulton was the daughter of the late, Raymond Carlos Stelmachers, Sr. and the late, Dorothy (Thomas) Stelmachers.
Lynda had a love for life and gravitated towards the more quirky things of life. She left this world with her "statement"...her purple hair. She had a one of a kind laugh that would brighten your day. Her love for all animals was evident in her daily life, especially her birds. She was a champion of the underdog. She had a great love for fishing. In her younger years she fished the Guys and Dolls Tournaments where she may have never caught the most fish, but she always caught the biggest fish. Ms. Fulton loved her family dearly and she will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Brandon Carl Fulton(Amanda) of Temple; three daughters and one son-in-law, Stacey Lyn Fulton of Cleveland, Missy Key of Dallas, and Hayley Perkerson(Wesley) of Bowdon; her brother and sister-in-law, Raymond Carlos Stelmachers, Jr. (Teresa) of Jefferson; her grandchildren, Kaydence, Sean, Piper, Kelsey, Scott, Ben, Chris and a number of other relatives.
In accordance with Ms. Fulton’s wishes, she will be cremated.
The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life and Memorial Fishing Tournament later in the spring. The service information will be published once it has been finalized.
