Mrs. Margaret Cecile (DeVilbiss) Baker, age 76, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. She was born in Apache, Oklahoma on Wednesday, March 11, 1942. Mrs. Baker was the daughter of the late Frank DeVilbiss and the late Jewel Darlene DeVilbiss. Besides her parents, Mrs. Baker is preceded in death by her husband, Leonyx Baker, Jr.
Survivors include her two sons, Robert Foster and Jefferey Foster both of Temple; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Karen and Bob Kramer of Ft. Worth Texas and Dee Ann and Robert Thiele of Leander, Texas; her grandchildren, Angela Benjamin of Temple, Emily Holmes of Jackson, Georgia, Matthew Foster of Hampton, Georgia, Toni Foster of Florida, Dana Foster of Florida, Lyndsay Hanes of Leander, Texas, Tonya Foster of Temple and Tiffany Foster of Calhoun; many great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Mrs. Baker made a career and retired as a secretary for Health and Social Services with the Federal Government. She was an active member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in the Corinth Community of Haralson County.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 3 P.M. from Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ray Huddleston officiating.
Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M.
