Max Tracy George, 44, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016. Mr. George was born on Saturday, January 22, 1972 in Carrollton, Georgia to Virginia Pope George and Max George. Mr. George was a hard worker. Before becoming disabled, he drove a wrecker in Carroll County. Mr. George was also devoted to his family, and he enjoyed spending time with his wife and playing video games with his two sons. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and UGA football games. He was loving, kind, and funny, and he will be dearly missed.
Mr. George was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Pope George; his brother, David Bradley George; and his father-in-law, Douglas Melvin Vines. He is survived by his wife, Tonya George, and his two sons, Toby Alan George and Owen Kane George. He is also survived by his father and step-mother, Max and Glenda George; his brother, Randall DeWayne George; his mother-in-law, Georgia Vines; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services honoring Mr. George will be held at the Waco United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Kevin Aronhalt officiating.
The family will receive friends at Waco United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. In lieu of flowers, his family has requested that donations be made to Croft Funeral Home for his final expenses.
