Max Howard Thomas, Sr.

Mr. Max Howard Thomas, Sr., age 81, of Bremen passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born in Cullman, Alabama on Wednesday, July 21, 1937. Mr. Thomas was the son of the late Max Howard Thomas and the late Katie (Robinson) Thomas. Besides his parents, Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his sister, Marcella Thomas.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Jane (Ellenburg) Thomas of Bremen; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Max Howard Thomas III and Lisa Thomas of Birmingham, Alabama and Don and Sheila Thomas of Cullman, Alabama; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Anna and David Robinson of Leeds, Alabama and Melissa and Chris Chapman of Bremen; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Mr. Thomas served in the National Guard. Later in life, he made a career as a truck driver and crane operator for Atlas Trucking.

In accordance with Mr. Thomas’ wishes, he will be cremated.
