Melissa Gayle Harper

Melissa Gayle Harper, age 53, of Villa Rica passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. She was born in Miami, Florida on Sunday, March 16, 1969. Ms. Harper was the daughter of the late, Jesse David Harper and the late, Patricia Gayle Harper. In addition to her parents, Ms. Harper is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Bowles.

Survivors include her common law husband, Joseph Charles McGee, Sr. of Villa Rica; her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph “Jody” Charles McGee, Jr. and Alexis Savage of Villa Rica; two sisters, Teresa Wilson of Opelika, Alabama, Jessica Green of Villa Rica and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Ms. Harper’s wishes, she will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a memorial service at a later date.
