Reverend William (Bill) Walter Estep

February 28, 1932 — August 2, 2017

Reverend William (Bill) Walter Estep, age 85, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Reverend Estep was born in Newnan on Sunday, February 28, 1932. He was the son of the late Eddie James Estep and the late Ora Mae (Douglas) Estep. Besides his parents, Reverend Estep is preceded in death by five brothers, Harley Estep, Warner Estep, Doug Estep, Arthur Estep, and Hoyt Estep; one sister, Anna Herndon and his father-in-law, Herman Rogers.

Survivors include his wife of twenty years,  Deborah (Rogers) Estep of Temple; two sons, Douglas Estep of Lula, Georgia and William Savage of Temple; two daughters, Diane Estep, Mandi Spear and her fiancé Tony Albright of Rome; seven grandchildren, Hayley and Marie Spear of Temple, Breana, Taylor, and Bradley Morrow of Temple, Amber Estep of Lula, Georgia and Drew Fennell of Temple; six great-grandchildren, Albrey Morrow of Temple, Jacob and Jaxon Crawford of Temple, Maykla and Sara Porterfield of Lula, Georgia and Brayden Estep of Lula, Georgia as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Reverend Estep enjoyed reading his Bible, playing his guitar, and going fishing. He loved spending time, talking with family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 3 P.M. from the Apostolic Tabernacle Of The Living God in Temple with Reverend Kenneth Lankford and Reverend Ed Wheat officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica with the following pallbearers: Joe Rogers, Darrell Rogers, Triston Wade, Tony Albright, Rirchard Herndon, Hayley Spear and Marie Spear.

Reverend Estep will lie in state at the Church on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 2 P.M. until the funeral hour.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 7P.M. until 9 P.M.
