Sally Lynn (Cantrell) Booker

Ms. Sally Lynn (Cantrell) Booker, age 68, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was born in Griffin on October 3, 1954. Ms. Booker was the daughter of the late, Thomas Edward Cantrell and the late, Malva Catherine (Wise) Marler.

Ms. Booker retired from Richmond County School System after serving over 30 years as a School Bus Driver. When she was able, she enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and shopping for deals online. Sally was known for her loving personality, socializing with her many friends, and always calling others to keep in touch.

Survivors include her two sons, Rodney Brock and Thomas James Brock, both of Augusta; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Rosie and Steve Tunstall of Temple, Cindy and Teddy Casey of Auburndale, Florida, and Melly Alexander of Winston. Ms. Booker is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashlie Brock of Augusta, Austin Brock of Augusta, and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Ms. Booker’s wishes, she will be cremated.

The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
