Sharon Lee McClure

Mrs. Sharon Lee (Kellermier) McClure, age 76, of Temple passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on May 3, 1948. Mrs. McClure is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Patricia and Russell Ferguson; by her son, Kevin Robert McClure, by one sister, Gloria Lyurch, and by one grandson, Taylor McClure. 

Sharon was a member of Temple First Baptist Church. She worked for many years with the Boys Club of Marietta and later retired from Cobb County after many years of service. Mrs. McClure enjoyed vacationing with family, going on cruises, staying at the family cabin in Elijay, and keeping candy set aside for her grandchildren. Sharon loved her family with all her heart, and she will be deeply missed. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of fifty-seven years, Kenneth McClure of Temple; her daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Dennis Pace of Bremen; her sister, Cheryl Evans of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Anslie and Jacob Mouchet, Kyncade Pace and her fiancé Justin Turner, and Alexis McClure. Mrs. McClure is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 6P.M. until 8P.M.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 2P.M. from the funeral home chapel with Brother Danny Hammett officiating. 

Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville with Todd Hames, Bubby Stamper, Coley Adair, Shawn Grinstead, Chad Reily, and Jimmy Lovinggood serving as pallbearers.
