Sophia Renee McDaniel
January 6, 1965 — June 4, 2015
Ms. Sophia Renee McDaniel, age 50, of Newnan passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015. Ms. McDaniel was born in Newnan on Wednesday, June 6, 1965. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Lee McDaniel and the late Patricia Louise McDaniel. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Charlayne Green.
Survivors include her three sons, Christopher McDaniel of Carrollton, Nicholas McDaniel of Carrollton, and Tyler Ragland of Newnan; four daughters, Ashley Nicole McDaniel of Temple, Halli Elise Ragland of Newnan, Patricia Leigh Anne McDaniel of Carrollton, and Cassianna McDaniel of Temple; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Cynthia and Anthony Calhoun of Newnan and Dianne McDaniel of Bowdon; four grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Ms. McDaniel was a very outgoing woman that took the time to help and give to others in their times of need. She was a nurse by trade and enjoyed reading in her spare time.
The family will receive friends at Croft Funeral Home on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm.
Memorial Services will be conducted from the Croft Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1pm.
