Stoney Gene Morris

Mr. Stoney Gene Morris, age 71, of Temple passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born in Villa Rica on Wednesday, March 14, 1951. Mr. Morris was the son of the late, James L. Morris and the late, Ellen (Parrish) Morris. In addition to his parents, Mr. Morris is preceded in death by his daughter Shailene LeAnne Morris.

Mr. Morris made his career as a Truck Driver for Hat D Trucking. He was a member of Covenant Life Church in Bremen. Mr. Morris was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Faye (Elrod) Morris of Temple; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Matthew Morris of Canton and Shannon and Annie Thomason of Temple; two grandchildren, Conner Thomason, Stella Thomason and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mr. Morris will be cremated.
