Mr. Waymon Jackson Cook, age 70, of Temple passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was born in Anniston, Alabama on Thursday, August 4, 1949. Mr. Cook was the son of the late, Waymon Franklin Cook and the late, Jackie Mae (Kilgore) Cook. Besides his parents, Mr. Cook is preceded in death by his wife, Doris (McIntosh) Cook and by one brother, Jimmy Cook. Mr. Cook was a retired from USF Dugan as a Truck Driver.
Survivors include his fiancée, Debbie Gulledge of Temple; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Terry and Leslie Shores of Sandy Springs, Jason and Carlita Cook of Georgia, Anthony Cook of Princeton, Kentucky, Ryan and Jessica Boykin of Stockbridge and Stephen and Amber Cook of Ellenwood; two daughters, Kaitlyn Cook of Foley, Alabama and Traci Ledford of Austell; one brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Johnny Cook of Rockmart; one sister, Edna House of Villa Rica; twelve grandchildren, Brentlin Shores, Erianna Shores, Paisley Cook, Payton Cook, Xaveriana Cook, Nyree Cook, Myles Cook, Kayden Cook, Kylen Cook, Colleen Boykin, Ryland Boykin, Grabriel Boykin and a number of other relatives.
In accordance with Mr. Cook’s wishes, he will be cremated.
