SCAM ALERT

We have recently been made aware of a troubling scam targeting families who have lost loved ones. Scammers are falsely claiming to represent our funeral homes in our area and are attempting to deceive families into making payments under false pretenses. They may invent issues such as “liability insurance” or other fabricated charges, often promising reimbursement later. In some cases, they have demanded specific amounts, like $1,800, and have even threatened to cancel funeral or burial services if immediate payment is not made over the phone. These individuals often gather information from obituaries and public records to contact grieving families.

We are deeply saddened that anyone would exploit families during such a vulnerable time and are committed to ensuring these fraudulent activities are stopped.

Please remain vigilant and do not provide payment over the phone unless you are certain of the caller’s identity. If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately and contact us directly at 770-562-3878.

We take this matter very seriously and have reported it to the proper authorities.
